On 1st September you can watch the first-ever Back to Hogwarts live stream, to celebrate the start of term at Hogwarts. MinaLima has produced a limited edition print in celebration of this the first ever digital Back to Hogwarts in 2020. The Wizarding World site will also have new craft videos, trivia challenges, quizzes, puzzles, and more on the weekend of the 1st September.
First-ever Back to Hogwarts Livestream
Usually, fans gather at King's Cross Station to count down to the magical 11 o’clock when the Hogwarts Express leaves Platform 9 & 3/4. Because of COVID-19, Wizarding World ask people not to attend King’s Cross this year but attend the first-ever online live stream of the event instead.
The Back to Hogwarts Livestream will include special contributions from Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) and members of the Cursed Child production. CineConsert will perform a digital concert of music from the Harry Potter films and Paul Harris, the wand choreographer, will hold a special presentation and more!
The Weasley twins will also take part in this event. This is what James and Oliver Phelps had to say about it:
“I’m so excited to be playing a part in the first-ever digital Back to Hogwarts!’ James said. ‘2020 has definitely been a strange year and it’s really important that we all do everything we can to keep safe, including staying home. I hope fans will join us and keep the celebrations virtual.’
Oliver Phelps added: ‘The Wizarding World fans are the greatest and getting the chance to share this special day with people all over the world is going to be brilliant. I’m really looking forward to everything this Digital Back to Hogwarts has in store and it’s a bonus that we can all do it from the sofa!’.
The livestream will take place on 1st September between 10.30 am BTS and 11.30 am BTS on the Wizarding World channels, meaning Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Limited Edition Back to Hogwarts 2020 Print by MinaLima
The Graphic Designers behind the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, MinaLima, have produced a Limited Edition Print to celebrate Back to Hogwarts 2020.
The Premium Print is embellished with gold foil, comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, is numbered, embossed and signed by Miraphora and Eduardo printed on Hahnemühle fine art paper. The print is limited to 250 pieces.

Digital Activities Before the 1st September
On the weekend of the 28th August, the Wizarding World site will have a Back to Hogwarts Hub where you can watch new craft videos, trivia challenges, quizzes, puzzles, Back to Hogwarts features, shopping guides and more. Hopefully, it will bring a bit more magic to your weekend before you get ready to hop on the Hogwarts Express on 1st September.
Wizarding World will also release Journeys to Hogwarts Soundscape: a immersive Harry Potter audio experience featuring sounds you’d hear on the journey to Hogwarts. More information on that will be available soon.
Back to Hogwarts Class of 2020
Harry Potter fans can join the Back to Hogwarts Class of 2020. By taking a photo of themselves celebrating the fandom and submitting it to the Wizarding World, your photo could be projected at King’s Cross and be included on the livestream!
